Our Management Team
CEO, Chief Matchmaker & Chief Nurturer: Clients
Fionn is our primary client contact and immerses herself in our clients’ businesses. She nurtures deep and long term understanding about our clients’ goals for their teams and works with them to bring those goals to life.
In her role as CEO, Fionn is also responsible for corporate strategy, marketing and public relations.
Most memorable piece of performance feedback: Fionn was told that she created an additional management burden for her boss, but that she was worth it. She’s never been entirely sure if he meant the second bit.
Senior Matchmaker, Chief Connector: Systems, & Joint Company Secretary
Helen was a lawyer trained in the US and joined us in Aus part way through her 15 year legal career. Most recently she has been heading up a large team of non-lawyers doing many Very Important Things.
Helen loves keeping people connected and making life simpler.
Helen, along with Anna and Rebecca, builds relationships with prospective candidate lawyers and nurtures those relationships for the long term when lawyers join the Bowd Community.
Helen is also responsible for the systems and software that stand behind Bowd, helping to keep us connected with ourselves, our clients and our lawyers.
Helen also works with Rebecca as our Joint Company Secretary, responsible for both strategic and practical governance for Bowd.
Chief Nurturer: Community
Chief Nurturer: TEAM
Kristin started her career as an accountant in the US and after working for some time as a CPA, she was drawn to the employee experience and moved into Human Resources. Kristin fell in love with an Australian lawyer many years ago and together they have travelled the world. Kristin loves to help people through mentoring and coaching and she also loves to help employees find meaningful work.
Kristin provides HR-focussed guidance to the Bowd Community onboarding processes including individual onboarding and mid- or post- placement coaching and ‘DiSC’ assessment. Kristin advises Fionn on people related (HR) communication and support and Kristin is also responsible for the Bowd charity initiatives.
Senior Matchmaker & Chief Nurturer: Events
More than 30 years of experience as a top tier and blue chip in-house lawyer has taught Anna many things, but nothing more important than how to have a good lunch! Anna also once ran her own gallery and she is a self-made businesswoman in her own right.
Anna, along with Helen and Rebecca, builds relationships with prospective candidate lawyers and nurtures those relationships for the long term when lawyers join the Bowd Community.
Anna is also responsible for Bowd’s amazing Community and Client events and sponsorship.
Senior Matchmaker, Chief Navigator: Business Directions, & Joint Company Secretary
Rebecca has spent almost 20 years as a lawyer in top tier firms and blue chip companies but she is the first to admit that she really is a frustrated creative. She is also a true optimist and fan of people-kind.
Rebecca, along with Anna and Helen, builds relationships with prospective candidate lawyers and nurtures those relationships for the long term when lawyers join the Bowd Community.
Rebecca works with the entire executive team to bring together, navigate and align the operational aspects of the Bowd organisation.
Rebecca also works with Helen as our Joint Company Secretary, responsible for both strategic and practical governance for Bowd.
Most memorable piece of performance feedback: Rebecca once received performance feedback suggesting she should tell fewer jokes. As far as we can tell she has not taken that advice too seriously.
